Announcing
Bretton Woods @80
In the course of 2024 we plan to host several high-level conferences and seminars designed to develop a new normative and practical agenda for Bretton Woods. Our discussions will aim to improve the clarity of thinking and broaden the area of common ground on steps needed to adapt the international financial architecture to current challenges in a way that will help build a Bretton Woods for the future.
The process will culminate with a major conference to be held during the IMF /World Bank October annual meetings in Washington DC. This event will build on the year’s prior discussions and analyses to generate recommendations that will include clear suggestions for reviving global cooperation in an age of market fragmentation and policy divergence.
